Capitol Chiropractic was founded by Donald R. Lathrop, DC, who graduated with highest honors from Cleveland Chiropractic in Los Angeles, California in 1977.  Dr. Lathrop has been in chiropractic care for over 25 years.  He was born and raised in Olympia where he returned to start  Capitol Chiropractic Center a wellness center devoted to care for the entire family.  He and his wife, Candence, have three sons: Chris, Jarred and Jonathon.

While Dr. Lathrop's specialty is diversified chiropractic technique, he keeps appraised of the latest training and methodology.  He continually works in conjunction with physicians, naturopaths, nutritionists, acupuncturists and massage therapists.  He has extensive experience with auto and work related injuries, sports injuries, rehabilitatation and wellness.  He knows that proper relaxation, nutritional support and working with the muscles and tissues surrounding the skeletal structure are all vital parts of complete chiropractic care and essential for spiritual, mental and physical health.
